This unit is not deeper but it is wider so you can put lay down bottles crosswise and can hold 10 easily - or cans upright. The Top door has a safety catch that keeps the door closed. Door is switchable from side to side. Compressor is pretty quiet and runs in short burst to keep fridge cool or cold (haven't tried freezing temp). it's a thumbs up 4 me.

👍 wow, what a gem this little freezer is! took it on a beach outing and it was just fantastic. kept all our drinks and snacks super cool in the scorch heat - even managed to freeze some water bottles solid! we had it running off our portable power station for six hours straight and still had juice left. as far as noise goes, you wouldn't even know it's there. if you're looking for compact that packs a punch, i'd highly recommend this car freezer.
